Tactile Tutoring creates a customized curriculum for each of our students based on their learning goals and needs. This ensures that our students get the most out of their tutoring sessions and make progress towards achieving their academic and career goals.

That's why we offer tutoring sessions in your home where you may be most comfortable, or at the public libraries where all the good books live. Our patience and friendly deminer will make any student feel comfortable to ask questions and explore ideas.

We teach our students effective study strategies that help them retain information and apply it to their coursework. In our first session, we will outline the study cycle as presented in "Teach Students How to Learn" by Dr. Saundra Yancy McGuire, an educational expert with a background in chemistry. We believe that learning how to learn is just as important as the subject matter itself. 

With years of experience and a deep understanding of the growth mindset needed to succeed, we offer expert guidance by crafting personalized action plans for our students. Our goal is to help our students reach their full potential by identifying what hasn't worked in the past and finding new methods for each person based on their specific needs.
