Tutoring Services and Product Purchasing Agreement & Terms of Use

This Tutoring Services Agreement and Terms of Use (“Agreement”) is entered into between you ("Client", "Student", or "User") and Tactile Tutoring (“Tutor,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account, scheduling a session, purchasing my products, or using our website or services, you agree to the terms below. 

We reserve the right to deny service and/or deactivate users accounts for violation of any of the following terms.

We offer tutoring sessions held at 227 Howerton Ave, Ilwaco, WA 98624.

The following types are available for booking after clients contact us:

• Personal: One-on-one work with a tutor and student
• Group: Two to four students
• Drop-in: Times available on contact

All appointments must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Clients must make an account and contact us before scheduling their first session.
 

Tutoring Sessions: 

100% of payment is due at time of booking. 

Clients can only cancel a session by contacting the tutor directly at (503) 298-0453

Clients will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 24 hours before their session begins. 

Clients may receive a partial refund of up to 50% if they cancel less than 24 hours before their session begins.

Clients are not guaranteed a refund of any amount if they do not show up to their session, and they do not cancel the session.

Product Purchases:

100% of payment for product, shipping, and tax is due at point of sale.

Purchased products may not be eligible for refund at this time. Please inquire with the tutor if you have any questions, concerns, or complaints at (503) 298-0453.

Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of their login credentials.

Users may not use our platform for illegal, harassment, or obscene behavior.
 

Students agree to treat others with kindness, respect, and integrity during all tutoring sessions.

Students agree to take breaks when recommended by their tutor.

Students agree to address all concerns of violations with their tutor to file a formal comment.

Students agree to treat all tools and equipment with respect. Damaged property must be replaced and documented.

The contents of this website, learning materials, visual aids, tactile tools, designs, and recorded lessons are property of Tactile Tutoring unless otherwise noted.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without written permission.

Users may not use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

We cannot ensure our website will be free of interruptions, errors, or security breaches. 

We cannot guarantee all educational content will be free of errors.

We are not guarantee sessions will improve grades or scores, or that related academic outcomes will fully meet client expectations.

We are not liable for any lost or damaged property while utilizing tutoring services.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

By creating an account, scheduling a session, purchasing products, or using any part of our website or services, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement in full.
